New project

0 min read
I've started painting/drawing some miniatures. I thought that it would be a pretty neat thing to try out after I found a painted portrait in a book, and later read that it was 2x3cm. I'm trying to see how small I can go until I either get bored or lose my marbles. So far I'm at 2x2.6cm (I'm trying not to paint anything bigger than 5x7cm). If you have suggestions for tiny dimensions, or subjects for me to attempt to squish onto a bit of paper- now is the time!

Hello!
Was just at the jar exhibit and Anna introduced me to your work. It's awesome! Great technical skills and narrative aspects.

You should come hang out at a sketchmeet! There's a facebook group:

I don't live in Perth anymore, but will be around for the next few weeks and get some more going.
Thank you so much for your kind words. :)
I'm so glad you enjoyed the exhibit, it was really fun.

The sketchmeets sound like really great events, and I would definitely like to check it out. Although, I'm finding it hard making time for art things at the moment - with work and studies. But yes, let me know when you next have one! If I'm free, then I'll be there :)
Oops, I should check DA more often. There were a few meets on the weekend. Possibly another next Sunday. They're announced on the aforementioned group if you're on facebook.

Oh I assumed your work/studies were art-related! Are you one of those crazy talented people that studies some obscure science and still manages to hone their sweet art skills?
